SUMMARY:Businesses to Address Modifications to the Emergency Economic Recovery Ordinance
DESCRIPTION:The Chamber is seeking the participation of downtown businesses on Thursday\, January 20\, 2022\, from 3 to 4 PM to solicit feedback that can then be presented on behalf of the business community to the council.  The Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a State Street Business Roundtable workshop to draft feedback for proposed changes to the current Emergency Economic Recovery Ordinance that established the pedestrian promenade on portions of State Street. The ordinance was set to expire on March 8. However\, the Santa Barbara City Council will be discussing a 2-year renewal of the ordinance\, as well as possible modifications\, at their January 25th meeting. RSVP here.
