DESCRIPTION:Isla Vista Community Center presents "Self Portraits"\, a new arts exhibition and collaboration project featuring artwork from 20 artists from Santa Barbara Art Works\, Saturday\, January 28\, 2023\, 4:00   7:00PM. A self-portrait in its most traditional sense is a painting or drawing of an artist\, but it can also tell a story about the artist by expressing their personality\, culture\, interests\, desires\, dreams\, family life\, and much more. From expressive waves to galaxies far away\, and memories of people from decades ago\, this exhibit will feature a variety of artworks that deeply reflect the personality of each artist. Santa Barbara Art Works is an arts studio and gallery with a mission of helping adults with disabilities create\, show\, and sell their work.
