Santa Barbara Humane Gala Whiskers Under the Moon

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Santa Barbara Humane will host its fourth annual gala, Whiskers Under the Moon, transforming its campus into an unforgettable evening of celebration featuring live music by the Just Dave Band, a Los Angeles-based country, rock, and soul band. The evening begins with a VIP reception for sponsors at 5:00 p.m., followed by the main event at 5:30 p.m.

This special evening raises critical funds to help place pets into caring homes and provide wrap-around services, including free and low-cost veterinary care, support through our pet food pantry, affordable dog training, and more.

Guests will enjoy an elegant, harvest-inspired evening with a warm country ambiance, featuring signature cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and a thoughtfully curated farm-to-table dinner showcasing locally sourced ingredients, followed by live music and dancing.
