Cashier

We are seeking a Grocery Store Cashier to become part of our team! You will be responsible for customer service and store maintenance in a small market setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Explain products and services to customers
• Stock and maintain shelves
• Enter and process customer orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Exposure to extremes in temperature (deli coolers, freezer, hot water)

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with customers and co-workers
• Proficient communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Standing up to 6 hours per day
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

• Flexible schedule
• Pay range: $16-18 (hourly)
