Front Desk Agent

The Santa Barbara Inn is seeking experienced upbeat professionals to join our team in providing luxury guest service. We are hiring the following positions: Front Desk Agent **Front Desk Agent (full time and part time positions open) hourly wage: Starting at $17.00 or Flexible with preferred experience. Responsibilities For Front Desk Agents include: *Ensures efficient, friendly, and professional guest registration, check-out, and telephone service. Ensures all of our guests receive the highest level of service. Solves guest issues and complaints with confidence and follows through with resolutions. *Must have a positive and calm demeanor towards fellow employees, guests and management. Problem solve as needed. *Reviews current day's expected arrivals and checks all VIP and special request reservations to ensure that they are pre-registered, blocked properly, and other departments are notified of room assignments. *Communicates with other departments on guest related issues. *Performs front desk agent responsibilities as needed to process guests checking into hotel, responding to guest questions, resolving guest problems/complaints, answering telephone, making guest reservations, and checking guests out of hotel. *Ensures that guests' needs are fulfilled and their stay is as pleasurable as possible; assists with dining, entertainment, or transportation reservations as needed. *Shifts can begin as early at 6:45AM and the last shift finishes at 11:30PM. Some overnight work will be required as well on an occasional basis. Hotel experience is a plus but not a requirement.
