IT Desktop Support Position – Full Time (In Person)

Description of Duties:
Provide local and remote end user support for a variety of desktop and laptop hardware and software platforms. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade all desktop and peripheral equipment. Respond to phone calls and emails to assist users’ problems with application and hardware issues.

Document problems and resolutions in the Help Desk application software for future reference. Setup and configure desktop or laptop computers for all new hires. Maintain documentation pertaining to hardware or software installations, computer asset tracking, loaner equipment, the shipping or receiving of equipment, RMAs, and software licensing.

Assist users in setting up video conferences and provide technical support for meetings.

Experience:
– Desktop Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows and MacOS
– Networking, TCPIP, SIP, VPNs, cabling, etc.
– Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
– Familiarity with Microsoft servers, Active Directory, and business network environments

Requirements:
– In person

– Ability to build rapport with users

– Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral equipment such as printers and scanners
– Experience or willingness to learn
– Strong attention to detail
