Clinical Director

The Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse (CADA) is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee and lead our treatment programs serving youth, adults, and families in Santa Barbara County. This is a high-impact leadership position focused on improving lives through evidence-based care and trauma-informed practices. Qualifications: Licensed MFT, LCSW or Clinical Psychologist with certification, or ability to become certified, to clinically supervise treatment staff, associates, interns and trainees Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a managerial role in the behavioral wellness field, supporting clinicians and developing strategic plans Demonstrated clinical skills in the behavioral wellness field, with an emphasis on alcohol and other substance abuse treatment modalities, mental health and co-occurring mental health disorders. Demonstrated skills in administrative performance, including expertise in written/oral communication, supervision of staff, documentation requirements, grant reporting, service coordination and case management Comprehensive knowledge of treatment practices including applicable State and Federal rules and regulations Computer proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required. Responsibilities: Have responsibility for the implementation, delivery, coordination and clinical oversight of all CADA’s treatment services in the adolescent and adult outpatient program and in the adult residential treatment program. In collaboration with treatment program managers, develop program Policies and Procedures that ensure compliance with the applicable rules and regulations for state and other regulatory agencies, as well as HIPAA compliance. Coordinate the clinical supervision of treatment staff, associates, interns and trainees. Provide direct clinical supervision to treatment staff, associates, interns and trainees. Collaborate with Grant Writer, Grant Manager and Executive Director on clinical aspects of grant applications. Assist with data collection on grant reporting. This is a full-time exempt position, 40 hours per week. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement contribution, and paid time off. Compensation is dependent on the level of prior experience and qualifications, with a salary range of $83,200-$101,825. In compliance with the California Department of Health Care Services, staff require an up-to-date Tuberculosis test during the duration of employment.
