About Us
We were founded on April 1, 2012 by Mexico City native Juliana Ramirez. Juliana?s family immigrated to the United States in 1994 and planted their roots in Carpinteria. Five years after their move, Juliana entered the accounting world as a local bookkeeper. After 12 years of working with local firms?and with 11 loyal clients and a lot of determination?she decided to take on the challenge of starting her own business.
JR Bookeeping began to grow immediately and significantly increased its list of clients. Today, we?re able to help strengthen the community and boost the local economy by providing job opportunities to a handful of full- and part-time employees.
Our accounting expertise has helped all different kinds of small businesses?from restaurants to retails stores, from car dealerships to dental offices. But more than just having accounting know-how, we?re passionate about teaching. We take pride in enabling our clients to handle as much or as little of their business?s finances as they desire.
