About Us

Playa is a warm and welcoming lodge just a stone's throw away from the soft, warm sands of Carpinteria's top rated beaches.

We have four units: Three one-bedroom, one-bath units with a queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room, and a two-bedroom, two-bath unit.

Each unit is meticulously designed with all the modern conveniences: Viking? appliances, surround sound in the living room, flat screen TV's in both the living rooms and bedrooms and each master bedroom has a queen sized bed with luxurious bedding on an ultra comfortable pillow top mattress. Plush linens will be awaiting you. Experience pure luxury in beautiful bathrooms that feature Carrara? marble tiles and rain shower heads.

All of the units have a comfortable outdoor patio, each with their own gas BBQ and built in firepit. Enjoy sitting out by the fire while winding down from your fun filled day with a glass of wine in hand. The outdoor dining area makes for the perfect sunset dinner.

Playa is a wonderful place to enjoy a summer vacation, romantic getaway, business trip or family reunion. Amtrak stops daily at the charming Carpinteria depot a short walk away. Bus transportation is also very convenient. If you're driving, Playa is 90 minutes north of Los Angeles (far enough to leave the big city behind) and 15 minutes south of Santa Barbara.
